Globe Trotter

In the Winter of 2006 I embarked on an amazing journey through Central and South America, traveling, living and learning the Spanish language for one and half years.

I spent a considerable amount of time living, working and traveling in Bolivia, a South American Andean country snuggled between Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile and Brazil. I quickly fell in love with the harsh, often time geographically inhospitable and the volatile political landscape.

Traveling I tried to support as many people as I could through out the country by purchasing the beautiful vibrant blankets, throws and rugs that local Indigenous people create. All the rugs are made out of natural fibers and dyes. The are all hand woven and embroidered. Each one is unique and beautiful.

In addition there are bags that I purchased from the vibrant Chiapas, Mexico market and India textiles I purchased on a trip to Northern India in 2001-2002.

love and peace to you
